Dileep Kumar started The Mountain Spirit in Uttarkashi (2024–25) after years on Garhwal trails — not from a travel-agency background, but from walking these routes and seeing how poorly some commercial batches treat porters, waste, and safety.
He has guided and explored across major Uttarakhand trekking circuits: Sankri region (Kedarkantha, Har Ki Dun), Uttarkashi valleys (Dodital, Dayara side), Gangotri belt, and Joshimath routes. That on-ground time shapes how batches are planned — realistic road days, honest fitness advice, and turn-back calls when weather turns.
The company’s cleanup initiative is not a marketing sticker. Batches carry waste down; when possible, extra rubbish is collected from campsites that see heavy traffic. The goal is a trekking community that leaves trails cleaner than found.
